...well at least in a reunion concert! The much hyped concert of the defunct Eraserheads (Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan) will finally push through tomorrow, Aug 30th. There were issues with their concert because of a cigar company sponsoring this momentous event, which of course is not allowed with the advent ofRepublic Act No. 9211 or the Tobacco Regulation Act of 2003 which prohibits cigar companies from sponsoring sports, cultural, and artistic events of individual or team athletes, artists and performers. So there, the concert will have a new venue at The Fort in Taguig and that those who are interested to watch this concert will have to buy their tickets. From what I read, the tickets are available through Ticketnet. So there, I wish I can watch this rare event. I am an Eraserheads fan from the 90's. Their songs remind me a lot of my childhood! "Magkahawak ang ating kamay...." I wonder if Rivermaya will soon have their reunion concert as well? I would love to see Bamboo and the rest of the original members perform on one stage!

Vocalist Ely Buendia was rushed to the hospital cutting the concert short yesterday(August 30). The remaining membesa of the band and Ely's sister Lally (or Lali) announced it to the audience shortly after the first set ended. He was rushed to Makati Medical Center. I hope he'll surpass this one, if you guys remember, Ely had his first heart attack last January of 2007.
